Doctor of Medicine Undergraduates, Residents, and Fellows

Fellows are postgraduate medical trainees pursuing supervised clinical and/or research training. We continue to train neurology fellows and residents through the VCH Movement Disorder clinic, as well as Doctor of Medicine undergraduate students.

Note: Any candidate for licensure in British Columbia must have the ability to speak, read, and write English to the satisfaction of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia's Registration Committee. Further information about CPSBC English Language Proficiency requirements can be found here.

Graduate Studies

In addition, MSc and PhD in Physics, Engineering and Neuroscience students receive training through the Program. The University of British Columbia offer students the opportunity to develop critical thinking and research skills and delve deeply into specific topics within their area of interest. These programs prepare graduates for an academic or research-oriented career. In 2017, over 37 trainees (graduate students, post-docs, clinical fellows, residents), received training in the Movement Disorder clinic under the mentorship of our neurologists.

English Language Proficiency Test

In order to be considered for admission, international students whose first language is not English must submit original proof of either TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) or IELTS (International English Language Testing System).
